Sadie

At the top of Sadie’s list is ensuring that all human resources policies and equity initiatives align with The Food Group’s equity values – to fight hunger and nourish the community. She is diligent and strategic, committed to employee engagement, and focused on developing organizational culture.

Sadie has 10-plus years of human resources experience. She earned her master’s degree in human resources management from Concordia University-St. Paul, and received her certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida.
Sadie is a servant leader and advocates for underrepresented groups within the community, including local refugee and immigrant farmers. She recently joined the Mentor Collective to provide a safe space for Concordia students to discuss their experiences and connect with resources that build resilience.

Sadie enjoys spending time with her husband and family, being outdoors, and rooting for her nieces and nephews at sporting events.

The Food Group believes in food equity. They believe in culturally specific foods. They believe in meeting people where they are at. And most of all, they believe in dignity.
