Who can shop?

Everyone is welcome to shop! The mobile market is designed for convenient, day-to-day grocery shopping.

We accept credit/debit cards, SNAP/EBT, cash, and Market Bucks. We do not accept WIC or checks.

How does it work?

1) Arrival & Waiting:

The bus will pull up directly near the site entrance. Please give the bus plenty of space and wait until it comes to a complete stop before lining up.

2) Boarding:

Line up near the entrance, and staff will let you know when it’s time to hop on and shop.

3) Shopping Limits & Timing:

The bus stops for about one hour at each location. To ensure all of our neighbors get a chance to shop and items remain available, purchase limits are set on select items. We kindly ask that you select your groceries efficiently so others can board.

4) Checkout:

After selecting your groceries, head to the back of the bus to check out with a team member, who will help bag everything up for you!

Accessibility Assistance:

If you’re unable to climb aboard, simply let our staff know! You can provide your own shopping list or select items from that day’s available inventory, and a staff member will help shop for you.

Food & Inventory

What kinds of foods can I buy?

We offer a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables; dairy items such as milk, eggs, cheese, and yogurt; several varieties of lean meats; and basic dry goods including whole grains, rice, beans, and seasonings. During the growing season, we have fresh produce from local farmers.

If you don’t see an item you want, let us know! We’ll do our best to get it for you.

Where does the food come from?

We source the same high-quality products that you find at a local grocery store. During the growing season, we buy from local farmers. As part of The Food Group, we have access to certified organic produce from Big River Farms, too.

Payment & Assistance

How do I pay?

We accept credit/debit cards, SNAP/EBT, cash, and Market Bucks. When you buy fresh fruits and vegetables with SNAP/EBT, you receive up to $10 in Market Bucks to buy more fresh produce. At this time, we cannot accept WIC or checks.

What if I can’t pay?

When will Twin Cities Mobile Market come to my neighborhood?

The Twin Cities Mobile Market stops in Saint Paul, Minneapolis and other locations in the Twin Cities from Monday to Thursday every week. Check our schedule often for up-to-date information. We change times and locations to meet customers’ needs.

Are you open during bad weather?

Twin Cities Mobile Market makes every attempt to remain open during severe weather, but we close when area schools are closed or if we think it’s not safe for our staff, volunteers and customers. The schedule is subject to change at the last minute. We typically send out text notifications, but you may also call us at (763) 450-3860.
