Ingredients

  • 28 oz. beef and cheddar sausages* cooked
  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • 2 tbsp mustard dijon, honey, spicy or yellow mustard
  • cups shredded cheese
  • cups caramelized onions optional
  • 2 tbsp butter** melted
  • 2 tbsp everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375ºF. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Cut each sausage into 2-3 pieces, so you end up with 32 pieces.
  • Unroll crescent roll dough. Separate dough into triangles. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise to form two smaller triangles.
  • Spread mustard over the rolls. Top with shredded cheese and caramelized onions.
  • Place sausage slice on the wide side of dough. Roll up and place seam side down on baking sheet.
  • Brush rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
  • Bake for 13 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Enjoy with your preferred dipping sauce!

Notes

*If your sausages aren’t pre-cooked, make sure to cook them first.
  • In a large pot, bring enough water to cover the sausages to a boil. You can also use two cans of beer and water for extra flavor. Place sausages in the pot to cook for 5 minutes.
  • Remove sausages from the pot and place in a hot skillet. Sear on all sides.
**You can brush the rolls with an egg wash if preferred.
